“Together, we create a strong foundation for learning and growth.”
At Stanton Bridge Primary School, we believe strong partnerships between school and home are key to children’s success. We are continually looking for ways to develop these relationships and foster a rich, supportive community. We aim to keep all parents informed, involved, and able to support their children’s progress in a range of ways:
Open-door policy: If you have a question or concern, please speak directly to a member of the team. We want you to feel comfortable approaching us at any time — we’re here to help.
Communication App (Evidence Me): We use Evidence Me, a communication app, to share photos, messages, and progress reports directly with you. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate achievements and stay connected with your child’s day-to-day learning.
Curriculum overviews: These outline what children will be learning, the key skills they will be developing at school.

Newsletters: Our fortnightly school newsletter lets you know about key dates, events, and curriculum highlights. It’s a great way to stay informed and celebrate all that is happening in school.
Parent Workshops: We regularly hold workshops to help you: Support phonics and early reading at home. Develop mathematical skills through play. Prepare for starting school. Understand the EYFS curriculum.
Parents’ Meetings and reports: Parents’ Evening is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, view their work, and discuss their progress. Having an annual report to parents in which we explain the progress made by each child and indicates how the child can be supported to make improvement/further progress.
