All school staff at every level are safeguarding trained in order to look out for the signs of physical/emotional/sexual harm or neglect. They are required to report any concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) who has a duty to investigate all reports fully – keeping our children safe is a priority.

If you have anu concerns about the safety and/or wellbeing of any child or young person, please use the following contact numbers to report this. Remember, safeguarding children is the responsibility of ALL adults around the child.
Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when investigating a safeguarding concern. We will always ensure that our concerns are discussed with parents/carers first, unless we have reason to believe that this would be contrary to the child’s welfare.
Support available for families can include:
Early Help. This is for children of all ages and can be very effective in supporting young people and families, an initial assessment will be carried out by our Early Help Co-ordinator in school and support provided in any way deemed necessary.
