Playground pals

(Lunchtime club)

Selected year 5 and 6 children go to the KS1 playground during lunchtime to deliver simple and safe activities for the children. This develops the playground pals skills preparing them for the sports leadership sessions. The KS1 children are kept occupied and are involved in activities that develop their skills such as throwing and catching etc. The playground pals are monitored and overseen by mentors.
