Key Stage 1 and 2

Each year, the Department for Education publish Standard Assessment Tests (SAT’s) for schools to deliver across the nation. These formal assessments are taken by pupils at the end of Year 2 and Year 6 and assess pupils’ academic knowledge and skills in the subjects of Reading, Writing, Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling and Mathematics.
