Maths

Within the Mathematics curriculum, pupils are given the opportunity to enhance and develop their investigation skills. They will participate to take part in fun, engaging activities that allow them to solve problems in different contexts.

We use Times Tables Rock Stars (TT Rock Stars) to improve pupils’ learning and progress. This inspires pupils to practice their times tables by engaging them through fun activities and games online. 

English

English is taught on a daily basis and incorporates a range of reading, writing and speaking and listening activities. With a focus on a new narrative each term, pupils can explore a range of texts within different genres of storytelling.

Science

Science is taught on a weekly basis consisting of 2 one hour lessons. Pupils develop their scientific and enquiry skills through a variety of topics. During each topic, every pupil will carry out a scientific investigation that will enhance their scientific skills.
