Stanton Bridge Primary School

Curriculum

Curriculum Intent
At Stanton Bridge primary school, we are committed to delivering a progressive skill and knowledge-based curriculum that is driven by the positive dispositions which motivate learning behaviours.  These traits and characters will work to develop and enhance pupil’s curiosity, perseverance, resilience, thinking about their learning and how to learn confidently.   These dispositions not only aim to serve and develop a deeper understanding of learning, but also how to successfully compete in this diverse society in which they live, navigating and thriving with success.  Our curriculum has been specifically planned with our community at its heart, securing equal opportunity for all, and aims to provide all learners with the prospect to develop lifelong skills that will carry them into the 21st century and beyond.
