Reading is high focus for our school, and so we set a challenge for all our pupils over the summer break. 

They were to rise to the ‘Reading challenge of reading a book a week during the 6 week break.

One of our Year 1 pupils, Nuradni, exceeded such a challenge and thus was awarded a certificate by the local library. She read an amazing total of 39 books and wrote book reviews for each!

In school, we followed her certificate up by celebrating her fantastic achievement with a shower of gifts of her choice!
