Stanton Bridge Primary School

At Stanton Bridge we believe that safe and purposeful use of digital technology is an essential skill in the modern world, and we have a responsibility to equip students with the skills they need to thrive.

Our forward-thinking approach to technology enhances existing practice and creates additional learning opportunities in the classroom and at home, whilst improving digital literacy, developing student’s ability to collaborate and enhance problem solving skills.

iPads for Learning

Each pupil from Years 1 to 6 have access to a 1-1 iPad to use across the curriculum.

The app Showbie is used to provide children with digital learning resources, feedback, and interactive teaching tools. iPads seamlessly blend into our traditional curriculum, developing digital literacy whilst still maintaining our high standards of written work.

iLab

Each pupil at Stanton Bridge has access to our innovative technology hub, featuring 26 state-of-the-art iMacs and 6 Mac Book Pros.

The iLab is used to enhance learning across our curriculum as well as hosting a range of clubs and extra curriculum development opportunities.

Nao Robots

Pupils across KS2 work with our friendly NAO robots. Our school robots are used across our curriculum to provide a real-life interactive coding experience – from coding waiters for our pop-up restaurant to creating their own music videos.
